The short version. Install the client, a sponsored line appears while you work, and you keep 55% of what advertisers pay for the ones a human actually saw. Fabricate impressions and you lose the balance you fabricated, because that money was taken from an advertiser under false pretences.

1. Who this is between

These terms are between you and Axonate Tech, India ("Hafta", "we"). By installing the client or creating an account you accept them. If you do not, do not install it.

You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract.

2. What we provide

A client that displays a short sponsored line in your editor's status bar, Claude Code's thinking indicator, or your shell prompt, and an account that accrues a share of what advertisers pay for those displays.

We do not promise a particular volume of ads or a particular level of earnings. Most slots may be empty, especially early, and an empty slot pays nothing. Nothing on our site is a guarantee of income.

3. How earnings are calculated

An impression is billable only if it remained continuously on screen for at least the threshold shown in your dashboard, as measured against our server's clock.
Of each billable impression's value, 55% is credited to you. A click is currently worth 50 impressions. The current share is always shown in your dashboard, and that figure is the one the ledger uses.
Balances are held in millipaise and displayed in rupees. Payouts are rounded down to whole paise; the remainder stays in your balance.
The ledger is append-only. Corrections are new compensating entries, so you can always reconstruct how a figure was reached.

Where our records and your client's records disagree, our server's records govern. Timing reported by a client is treated as an upper bound to be verified, never as fact — this is what makes the number meaningful to the advertiser paying it.

4. Payouts

Payouts run weekly over UPI once your balance is above the minimum shown in your dashboard.
You must give us a valid UPI ID and confirm your email address first.
Above the threshold set by Indian tax law we must collect your PAN and may be required to deduct TDS.
If a transfer fails, we restore the amount to your balance with a compensating ledger entry.
A payout under review is held, not cancelled, until the review concludes.

5. What will get your account closed

All of the following amount to taking money from an advertiser for attention that never happened:

Running modified, automated, or emulated clients that report impressions without displaying them to a person.
Running the client on machines nobody is using, or on many virtual machines, to manufacture volume.
Registering multiple accounts to get around limits.
Automating or incentivising clicks.
Hiding, shrinking, or obscuring the ad while still reporting it as displayed.

Where we conclude that impressions were fabricated, we may reverse the associated credits and suspend the account. A person reviews every such case before action is taken — a false positive costs an honest developer real money, and we would rather be slow than wrong. If you think we got it wrong, write to us and a person will read it.

6. Advertisers

Budgets are prepaid and drawn from your wallet when a campaign is created.
Every creative is reviewed by a person before it can serve. We may refuse or withdraw any creative, at our discretion, without giving reasons.
You are charged only for billable impressions and clicks as defined above. Served-but-unbilled slots cost you nothing.
Destination URLs must use HTTPS and must lead to what the creative says they lead to.
Unspent budget can be returned to your wallet by archiving the campaign. We do not refund money already spent on delivered impressions.
You are responsible for the legality of what you advertise.

7. Your content and ours

Your code is yours; we never receive it. Creatives you upload remain yours, and you grant us the licence needed to display them. The Hafta client, site, and name remain ours.

8. Availability

This is a young service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it. There is a global off switch and we will use it if something is wrong. Any balance you have already accrued survives such an interruption and remains payable.

9. Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is capped at the greater of your unpaid balance or ₹1,000. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost earnings from ads that were not served.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Ending it

You can uninstall and close your account at any time. Any balance above the payout minimum will be paid out on the next run; below it, we will pay it on request. We may close an account for the reasons in section 5, or with 30 days' notice for any reason.

11. Changes and law

We will email you before any material change takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction.
